Jamie Lee- A PFlag Angel

PFLAG, Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays has a strong history of advocacy and support. Just when parents or those questioning their sexual orientation feel that they have no where to turn, its a smiling face or a warm embrace from a PFLAG member that can be the turning point to healing. As a clinician, I often recommend patients who need support attend a local meeting. They have resources to read, supportive members to chat with and educational programs. Coming out is a L-O-N-G journey and its nice to have good friends with words of encouragement on the way. PFLAG-KC general meetings are held on the second Sunday of each month at 3:00 pm at The Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Road, Room 307, Prairie Village, KS. (The meeting room is wheelchair accessible.) For more info visit: http://www.pflagkc.org/  or call the help line at (816) 765-9818  or write
